What we focus on in 3D assembly animations

An assembly animation shows the motion that static manual drawings cannot: which part comes from which direction, where each screw goes and which step must come first.

For the examples on this page, a part list and assembly order were defined first, then camera angles were chosen where each movement reads most clearly. The same animation can be exported for product pages, social media and an in-box QR code.

  • Part codes on screen match the physical labels
  • Repeated steps are sped up to keep the video short
  • Vertical and horizontal versions are edited separately
